We’re looking for a special individual for one of our most influential positions – P.V. Plast Factory Manager.

The Factory

The P.V. Plast production factory, located in Karmiel, contains various technical departments, including CNC, carpentry, electronics, plumbing, metalworks and plastics.

These departments produce state-of-the-art chemical hoods, laboratory & cleanroom furniture, ventilation systems, customed workstations and much more, providing our customers with the laboratories they need for their process.

The Position

The P.V. Plast Factory Manager is responsible for any and all aspects of the supply chain, including production, shipment and successful installation at the customer’s site. That being said, the Factory Manager is in charge of production teams and personnel, schedules, budgets, inventory, procurement and ongoing management of the factory operations. The Factory Manager works directly with the company’s CEO, being a key factor in managerial decisions and strategy. Basically, everything related to the factory.

The Mission

To maintain the P.V. Plast brand as a leader in the Israeli market and to increase market share by optimizing and expanding the factory supply chain and production operations.

Responsibilities

–          To lead the ongoing production operations from A to Z, including defining and meeting production, quality and safety goals, preparation of production plans and priorities.

–          To manage all production and installation employees, including hiring.

–          To lead the factory’s entire supply chain, including receipt of new projects, production according to plans, packaging, delivery and installation at the customer’s site in a timely manner.

–          To lead and monitor the factory’s procurement process, including of raw materials, warehouse and inventory management, purchasing and deliveries.

–          To successfully form and assimilate better work processes, improving and streamlining production activities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the position will have:

–          Bachelor of mechanical engineering/other relevant degree or 7 years of relevant experience.

–          5 years of experience in production operations and supply chain leadership.

–          Experience in budget management and control.

–          Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

–          Goal orientation and can-do attitude.

–          Proven ability of preparing and meeting production plan and goals.

–          A deep desire to make strong impact and grow with the company.
